1. 선수과목

  - 선수과목을 인정받기 위해서는 미국 또는 캐나다 내의 공식교육기관에서 이수해야 합니다.

  - 먼저 지원하기 위해서는 13개의 선수 과목 중 9개를 이수해야 합니다.

    그리고, 최종 합격된 후 개강 전까지 수강하지 않은 선수 과목을 들어야 합니다.

  - 10년 이상된 선수 과목은 접수되지 않습니다.

  - 학기제의 경우, 60시간 쿼터제의 경우, 최소 90 시간을 이수해야 합니다.

  - 선수과목을 인정받기 위해서는 C 이상의 학점을 받아야 합니다.

To be eligible to apply to Ohio State’s DDS program, you must complete 9 of the 13 prerequisite courses

prior to submitting your application. If you are accepted, all prerequisite courses must be completed before the

start of classes. You must receive a grade of a C or better in all prerequisite courses for the course to be counted

as a complete. Prerequisite courses older than 10 years (at the time of application) will not be accepted. 

The exception to this 10-year rule will be English I and English II.

*You must also complete a minimum of 60 semester (90 quarter) hours at an accredited institution.

Note: These prerequisites must be completed at an accredited, educational, English-speaking institution

within the United States or Canada.

2. DAT & GPA

  - DAT 점수 인정 기간: 지원 시점으로부터 2년 이내의 가장 최근 성적을 제출해야 합니다.

  - 오하이오 주립 대학교의 경우, DAT와 GPA 점수 커트라인이 있습니다.

   1) GPA : 최소 3,0 / 과학 과목 GPA : 최소 3.0

   2) DAT AA : 최소 17 / DAT PAT : 최소 17 / DAT TS : 최소 17

The DAT can be taken at any time through independent testing sites. We do not accept DAT scores that

are more than two years old at the time you apply.

Important: We only take most recent DAT scores into account when scoring applicants.

If you have taken the DAT multiple time, only your most recent scores are considered.

Minimum GPA & DAT Requirements                                                    

1) Total GPA Minimum: 3.0 / Science GPA Minimum: 3.0                                 

2) DAT AA Minimum: 17 / DAT PAT Minimum: 17 / DAT TS Minimum: 17

Minimum GPA Exceptions: Candidates that do not meet the minimum GPA requirements but have a 

completed an advanced degree with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA or have a minimum GPA of a 3.5 in

their last 45 hours of coursework may be considered for an interview.

3. 쉐도잉

  - 최소 시간의 쉐도잉 활동을 하여 지원 시 AADAS에 마감 기한에 맞춰 업로드 해야 합니다.

  - 합격자 평균 쉐도잉 시간은 120 시간이며, 5 또는 6명의 의사와 함께 한 쉐도잉 경험할 것을 권장합니다.

Complete your required 40 hours of dental experience and report them on your AADSAS application. 

Prior to applying, every candidate must complete a minimum of 40 hours of dental experience.

However, the average number of hours for students that are admitted is about 120. It is important to

diversify your experiences (typically 120 hours is completed with 5 or 6 practitioners).

Be sure you have completed your dental experience hours prior to submitting your application. 

If you have not completed the minimum 40 hours, your application will be considered incomplete and

you will not be considered for an interview.

4. 대외활동

  - 참여했던 다양한 대외 활동 (학술, 운동, 동아리, 기관, 연구, 봉사활동, 인턴십 등)에 대해 작성하는 란으로

    활동 기간과 빈도수, 담당 핵심 역할, 기관 정보 등을 기입하여 AADSAS를 제출해야 합니다.

List your non-academic experiences on your AADSAS application. These are a very important part of your profile.

To be a good fit for dentistry, you need to have outside interests, other than academics. Please report your

experiences in any of these categories: Volunteer experience, Community service, Research activities, Leadership

experience, Sports, Co-and extra-curricular activities, Work experience, Military experience, Teaching experience

5. 추천서

  - 추천서는 2부 제출해야 합니다.

  - 추천서 1부는 수강한 강의 중 하단 과목의 교수에게 받아야 합니다.

  - Committee letter인 경우, 추천인은 과학 계열을 가르친 경우에만 인정됩니다.

  - 추천서는 가족이나 친구에게 추천서를 받을 수 없습니다.

Submit two recommendation letters directly to AADSAS. One letter must be from a college science professor

The other letter can come from someone who knows you well. We will accept and consider additional letters

submitted through the AADSAS application. If the letter is a committee letter, we will accept it if one of the

members of the committee teaches in the area of science.

Please Note: Do not include personal letters of recommendation from family members or friends.

6. 영어 능력

  - TOEFL : 종이 시험 최소 550점 / iBT기반 최소 79점 공식 점수 결과는 ETS에서 직접 보내야 합니다.

  - MELAB : MELAB 공식 점수 결과는 최소 92점

  - IELTS : 최소 70점
