4. MCAT

Your score on the MCAT, a standardized, multiple-choice examination, helps our admissions committee assess your ability to solve problems and think critically about behavioral and scientific concepts.

You take the test no later than September of the year you apply to medical school.

We consider MCAT scores only from three years prior to your expected matriculation date. For example, if your plan to enroll in fall 2022,

the oldest acceptable MCAT score would be from January 2019.

The median and average MCAT scores among students in our most recent incoming class were both 522.

5. 추천서

  - Premedical Committee에서 받은 추천서 또는 지원자가 수강한 2명의 교수에게(이 때 추천서 1부는 과학 계열의 교수여야 합니다.)

    추천서를 받아 AMCAS에 마감기한에 맞춰 제출해야 합니다. 이외에도 지원자와 함께 일한 동료로부터 추천서 2부를 제출하는 것도

    인정됩니다.

Providing letters of evaluation is part of the NYU School of Medicine application process. We require a premedical committee appraisal

letter (preferred) or two letters from professors who taught you in courses (at least one in science).

Nontraditional applicants are encouraged to submit two letters of recommendation from colleagues with whom you’ve worked closely.
