1. Grades

  - 최종 학점은 C-보다 높아야 하며 그렇지 않은 경우, 재수강하여 학점을 높여야 합니다.

  - P/F 학점은 입학을 위해서는 인정되지 않지만, 지원자가 Fail을 받은 경우에는 해당 학점을 받은 설명을 덧붙여야 합니다.

Our Admissions Committee looks for applicants who have received As and Bs in scientific courses (more As than Bs) but recognizes such grades are not possible under all circumstances. A final grade lower than C- in any required courses is regarded by the Committee as an unsatisfactory completion of our requirements. For consideration, these required courses must be retaken (or have acceptable substitutes) with higher grades. Applicants may take a few courses not required for admissions on a pass/fail basis, but if they have failed a course, the Committee will wonder why. If relevant, please include an explanation of such a grade in the application.

2. 선수과목

  - 공인된 미국 또는 캐나다 대학교에서 학사 취득 또는 최소 3년 이수해야 합니다.

  - Biochemistry, Statistics, Biostatistics은 필수 선수과목은 아니지만, 수강을 권장합니다.

  - Foreign 대학교에서 재학한 지원자의 경우에는 MCAT 시험뿐만 아니라 최소 1년간 미국 내에 관련 기관에서

  Premedical training을 받아야 합니다.

At the time of application, at least three full academic years at a regionally accredited college in the United States or Canada.

  - 생화학, 통계학 및 생물 통계학을 적극 권장하지만 필수 사항은 아닙니다.

  Biochemistry, statistics, and Biostatistics are highly recommended but not required.

  We rarely admit individuals from foreign universities because our Admissions Committee does not have satisfactory means of evaluating        premedical education at universities outside of the United States and Canada. We, therefore, require at least one year of premedical training at a U.S. institution, in addition to the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT).

3. MCAT

  - MCAT는 대학 지원하는 해의 최대 3년전 점수까지만 인정됩니다.

The MCAT may be taken up to three years prior to applying for the 2022 application cycle. For more information about the MCAT, visit the Association of American Medical colleges website.

4. 추천서

  - 지원자의 학문적인 지식과 역량을 평가할 수 있는 Committee Letters를 선호합니다.

  - 혹은 추천서 최소 3부를 받아야 하며, 최대 7부까지 제출할 수 있습니다.

  - 추천서 중 1부는 반드시 과학 계열 교수, 교사, 또는 연구 멘토로부터 받아야 합니다.

We welcome letters of recommendation from individuals and premedical advisory groups (Committee Letters) with genuine knowledge of applicants and their capabilities, who can provide more than routine praise. Our Admission Committee requires three letters of recommendation and accepts up to seven.

One must come from a science faculty member, teach, or research mentor. Letters from people who do not personally know the applicants cannot be given serious consideration.
