1. 지원 요건 및 평가 기준

  - 예상 입학 시점까지 공인된 College 또는 University에서 학사학위를 취득해야 합니다.

  - International Student의 경우, 입학 지원 전에 미국, 캐나다 영국 공인 대학을 최소 1년 동안 다녀야 합니다.

  - Standford University는 Metrics(GPA, MCAT), 장학금 및 연구, 리더십, 독창성 및 창의성, 비학업적 성취 항목 (업무 포함), 추천서,

    자기 소개서 등 지원자의 역량들을 다양한 관점을 고려하여 검토합니다.

Applicants must have earned a Bachelors degree at an accredited college or University by time of anticipated matriculation.

Eligible applicants include U.S. citizens, permanent U.S. residents holding a valid visa, individuals who have been granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services at the time of application, undocumented students, and international students.

International Students must have studied for at least one academic year at an accredited college or university in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom prior to applying for admission.

Each application is reviewed individually and holistically and includes factors such as but not limited to Metrics (GPA, MCAT), Scholarship and Research, Leadership, Originality and Creativity, Non-Academic Accomplishments (including work), Letters of Recommendation, and Personal Statement, and Contribution to Diversity.

Recommended Coursework : Biology, Chemistry& Physics, Physics & Mathematics, Laboratory or Field Experiments, Behavioral & Social science, Communication

2. MCAT

  - MCAT는 지원하는 해의 최대 3년전 점수까지만 인정됩니다. 

    예를 들어, 2022년에 입학에 지원하는 경우, 2018년 1월 이후~2021년 9월 11일 이전에 응시한 MCAT점수만 인정됩니다.

  - 응시한 MCAT 점수는 AAMC를 통해 자동으로 대학에 전송됩니다.

All MCAT test scores taken are sent automatically by AAMC to the medical schools. In order for your application to be considered for the 2022 admissions cycles, at least 1 MCAT result from an exam taken after January 2018 and before September 11, 2021 should be included in your application.

3. 추천서

  - 추천서는 최소 3부를 받아야 하며 최대 7부까지 AMCAS에 제출할 수 있습니다.

  - 추천서는 공식 레터헤드에 작성해야 하며, 추천인 또는 위원회 위원의 서명이 필요합니다.

  - Pre-medical Committee는 필수 항목은 아니지만 제출한 경우에는, Committee Packet에 포함된 개별 편지만 추천서 수에

    포함됩니다. 하지만, Committee letter에 지원자를 참조하거나 요약하는 경우, 각 개별 추천서는 Committee packet에 포함됩니다.

All letters of recommendation must be submitted through the AMCAS Letter Service. A minimum of three and a maximum of six individual letters of recommendation is required. All letters must be written on official letterhead and signed by the recommender(s) or committee members.

Pre-medical committee evaluations/letters are not required. However, if submitted, only the individual letters contained within the pre-medical committee packet will count toward the number of letters of recommendation. 

If the committee evaluation/letter references or summarizes individual evaluators, each individual evaluation/letter of recommendation must be included with the committee packet.
