1. 지원 자격

  - 지원서 검토 시에는 의사가 되는 데 필요한 지식과 지원자의 성취를 기반으로 검토합니다.

  - 모든 지원자는 입학 전에 미국 또는 캐나다 공인 대학에서 학사 학위를 취득해야 합니다.

  - 외국 기관에서 학위를 취득한 경우, 입학 지원 전에 미국 대학에서 1년의 과학 과정 이수가 필요합니다.

    하지만, 공인된 캐나다 기관에서 지원하는 경우, 1년 이수 과정이 면제되므로 지원 시에 참고 바랍니다.

Perelman 의과대학은 폭넓은 교육과 엄격한 과학 준비를 갖춘 학생들을 모집합니다. 입학 자격은 특정 과정에 기초하는 것이 아니라

의사가 되기 위해 필요한 지식과 기술의 누적된 성취에 기초합니다.

학생의 학부 또는 학사 후 프로그램은 의과대학에서 공부하기 위한 최상의 준비를 제공하는 것으로 해당 교육기관이 식별한 과정 정보를 제공할 수 있습니다.

모든 지원자는 입학 전에 미국이나 캐나다의 공인된 단과대학에서 College 또는 University 학위를 소지해야 합니다.

외국 기간에서 학위를 받는 모든 지원자들은 입학 신청을 하기 전에 미국에 있는 College 또는 University에서 1년간의 과학 과정을

이수해야 합니다.

미국의 비거주자는 연방 또는 학교 재정 지원 프로그램을 받을 자격이 없습니다.

캐나다 공인 기관에서 신청하는 지원자는 필요한 1년간의 과학 연구에서 면제되며 직접 신청할 수 있습니다.

The Perelman School of Medicine seeks students with a broad education and rigorous science preparation. Admissions competencies are not based on specific courses, but rather on the cumulative achievement of knowledge and skills needed to become a physician. The student’s undergraduate or post-baccalaureate program can provide the course information identified by that educational institution as providing the best preparation for study in medical school. All applicants must have a BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada prior to matriculation.

All applicants who receive degrees from foreign institutions are required to complete one year of course work in the sciences at a college or university in the United States before applying for admission. Non-residents of the United States are ineligible for federal or school financial aid programs.

Applicants applying from accredited Canadian institutions are exempt from the required additional year of science study and may apply directly.

2. MCAT

  - MCAT는 지원하는 해의 최대 3년전 점수까지만 인정됩니다.

  - 예를 들어, 22년 가을에 입학을 고려하는 경우, 18년도 까지의 MCAT 점수만 인정됩니다.

Each applicant must take the Medical College Admission Test within three years of applying to the Perelman School of Medicine. All candidates for admission in the fall of 2022 are required to have taken the MCAT between January 2018 and September 2021.

3. 추천서

  - 지원자가 학위를 받은 모든 기관에서 받아 제출해야 합니다.

  - Composite or Committee letter 또는 개별 추천서 중 선택하여 AMCAS에 제출합니다.

  - 개별 추천서의 경우, 총 3부를 받아 제출해야 합니다. 그 중 최소 추천서 1부는 지원자가 수강한 과목 중

    과학 계열 교수에게 받아야 합니다.

  - 그리고 모든 추천서에는 서명이 필요하며, 추천서는 최대 10부까지 제출이 가능합니다.

All letters of recommendation (either required or supplemental) must be submitted to AMCAS. Academic letters are essential and must be submitted from any institution in which the applicant is currently enrolled or from which he or she has completed a program or received a degree.

Composite or committee: Individual letter/letter packet from a pre-health advisor or career service office, with or without additional letters attached.
- OR -

A minimum of three (3) letters from faculty members who know the applicant well; at least one must come from a science faculty member with whom the applicant has taken courses.

All letters must be signed and on official stationery. The Perelman School of Medicine has no maximum for letters of recommendation, however applicants may only submit up to 10 letters through the AMCAS Letter Writer Application. Additional letters of recommendation or personal updates to the application can be added to to application at any time. The applicant can personally upload any updates directly into the application using the online status page.
