1. 선수과목

  - 최소 요건으로는 공인된 College, University, 기관에서 3년간 이수한 경우에 해당합니다.

  - 해당 선수과목들은 일반적으로 한 학기 3~4학기 학점에 해당합니다.

  - Pre-medical 과정은 미국, 영국, 캐나다 대학에서 이수해야 합니다.

    이때, 실험이 포함되며 4년제 과정이 있는 Community College 코스도 인정됩니다.

  1학년 학급의 최소 입학 자격 요건은 다음과 같습니다.

   : 공인된 University, College 또는 institute of technology에서 3년 또는 그에 상당하는 학년 출석.

   이러한 과목의 합격 과정은 보통 한 학기당 3~4학기 학점이 주어집니다.

   의학 전 과정은 미국, 영국 또는 캐나다의 College 또는 University에서 이수해야 합니다. 미국 Community college의 과정은

   실험실 활동을 포함하고 4 years colleges, university 또는 institutes of technology의 과정과 내용이 비슷하다면 허용됩니다.

The minimum requirements for admission to the first-year class are:

Attendance for three academic years, or the equivalent, at an accredited college, university, or institute of technology.

Acceptable courses in these subjects are usually given three to four semester hours of academic credit per semester.

Pre-medical courses must be completed in a U.S., U.K., or Canadian college or university. U.S. Community College courses are acceptable, provided that the courses include laboratory work and are comparable in content to courses at four-year colleges, universities, or institutes of technology.

2. MCAT

  - MCAT 점수는 반드시 기한에 맞춰 AMCAS에 제출해야 합니다.

  - 22년 지원하는 경우, 19년 1월부터 22년 MCAT 마지막 시험 일정까지 응시하여 받은 점수만 인정이 됩니다.

  Yale 의과대학의 MD와 MD/PhD 프로그램의 모든 지원자들은 의과대학 입학시험(MCAT)을 치러야 한다.

  지원자들은 미국 의과대학 지원 서비스(AMCAS)에 의해 Yale School of Medicine에 시험 점수를 공개하도록 요청해야 합니다.

  2023년 8월부터 시작하기 위해 2022년에 지원할 경우 제출 가능한 가장 오래된 MCAT는 2019년 1월부터입니다.

All applicants to the Yale School of Medicine's MD and MD/PhD programs must take the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). For information on the MCAT, including registering to take the test, test dates, test sites, fees and obtaining test results, see the MCAT Website.

Applicants should request that test scores be released to Yale School of Medicine by the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). If you are applying in 2022 to begin in August 2023, the oldest MCAT you can submit is from January 2019.

3. 추천서

  - Pre-Medical Committee가 없는 경우, 개별 추천서 3부를 받아 제출해야 합니다.

  - 수업, 임상 및 연구 환경, 과외 활동, 봉사 활동 등과 같은 다양한 곳에서 지원자를 감독하거나 함께 한 사람들에게

    개별 추천서를 받으면 됩니다. 과학 계열의 추천인으로부터 추천서를 받는 것은 도움이 되나, 필수 항목은 아닙니다.  

모든 MD 및 MD/PhD 후보자에게 Pre-Medical Committee 서한이 권장됩니다.

만약, 본인 학교에 예비 의학 위원회가 없다면, 적어도 3개의 개별 추천서를 제출할 수 있습니다. 이 서류들은 여러분의 성취, 능력, 경험 그리고/또는 개인적 자질에 대해 지식으로 논평할 수 있는 위치에 있는 사람들로부터 보내져야 합니다.

학부 또는 대학원 수업, 연구 환경, 임상 환경, 과외 또는 지역사회 봉사 활동, 전문 환경 또는 기타 맥락에서 여러분을 가르치거나 함께 일했던 사람들로부터 올 수 있습니다. 과학계에서 누군가로부터 온 추천서 중 적어도 하나를 가지고 있는 것은 도움이 되지만, 꼭 의무적인 것은 아닙니다. 중요한 점은 그 추천서들이 여러분의 지원서의 다른 곳에 나타나는 정보를 보완하면서 입학 위원회에 유익하고 도움이 될 정보와 지원을 제공한다는 것입니다. 추천서는 AMCAS Letter Service를 통해 발송되어야 합니다.

A Premedical Committee letter is recommended for all MD and MD/PhD candidates.

If your school does not have a Premedical Committee, you may submit at least three individual letters of recommendation. These letters should come from individuals who are in a position to comment knowledgeably on your accomplishments, abilities, experience, and/or personal qualifications. They may come from those who have taught you or worked with you in undergraduate or graduate school classes, in research settings, clinical settings, extracurricular or community service activities, professional settings, or other contexts. It is helpful to have at least one of the letters from someone in the sciences, but this is not mandatory. What is important is that the letters provide information and support that will be informative and helpful to the Admissions Committee, supplementing the information that appears elsewhere in your application.

Letters of recommendation should be sent through the AMCAS Letter Service.
