1. 선수과목

  - 선수 과목은 실습이 아닌 강의 과목을 수강해야 합니다.

  - 입학처는 다양한 전공을 존중하여, 특정 전공만이 아닌 사회 과학, 인류학 등 다양한 전공의 지원자들도

    선호됩니다.

The required courses must be lecture rather than lab courses. For information on course equivalencies for Washington

for specific information on determining your course equivalency with the University of Washington.

We do not select or give preference to a particular undergraduate major field; in fact, our Admissions Committee encourages

diversity in majors. Courses in the social sciences and the humanities are also important and are reviewed by the Committee.

Although a majority of students have baccalaureate degrees, students with outstanding academic qualifications may be

considered for admission after only three years.

2. DAT

  - 반드시 11월 1일전까지 DAT 시험을 응시하여 AADSAS에 점수를 제출해야 합니다.

  - 지원하는 해 11월 1일 이후에 응시한 DAT는 지원 시에 인정되지 않습니다.

  - 최근 합격자의 평균 DAT는 19점에서 21점 사이로 참고 바랍니다.

Submit DAT or Dental Admission Test scores to AADSAS. There are no exceptions to completing the DAT.

Applicants must take the DAT prior to the due date of November 1st each year.

Scores from a test after that date are not considered during the current cycle.

Competitive DAT scores for entering students have averaged between 19 and 21 in recent years.

3. 쉐도잉

  - UWSOD는 지속적으로 지역봉사활동을 해 온 지원자를 높이 평가합니다.

  - 치의학에 대한 지식과 전문성을 높이기 위해서 한 다양한 관련 활동들을 기술해야 합니다.

UWSOD highly values applicants who show a sustained commitment to community service.

Competitive applicants should show a demonstrated effort toward increasing their knowledge of

the dental profession, though shadowing and dental related experiences.

4. 성적 증명서 & 추천서

   - 지원시에 모든 성적 증명서와 추천서를 받아 AADSAS에 제출합니다.

  - 이때, 추천서는 3부를 AADSAS 웹사이트 가이드라인에 맞춰 작성해야 합니다.

Official transcripts are only requested after a student has been admitted to the school.

All transcript AND letters of recommendation should be sent to AADSAS, as part of your application.

Three letters of recommendation will only be accepted from AADSAS.

Please follow the instructions on the AADSAS website for proper submission guidelines.

5. Secondary Application

  - 다른 치대와는 달리, UWSOD는 Secondary application을 진행하지 않습니다.

  - 그리고 USWOD는 Washington과 WICHE주 지원자들을 우선적으로 고려합니다.

    인터뷰 대상자 중 평균적으로 15% (약 165-180명) 정도 차지 합니다.

Unlike many dental schools, UWSOD no longer sends our secondary application.

Secondary application questions are now located within your primary AADSAS application.

UWSOD gives primary consideration to residents of Washington and WICHE states.

The UWSOD invites select candidates (approximately 15% or 165-180)from the applicant

pool for interviews.

6. Residency Requirement

  - 주로 입학자는 85-90%는 워싱턴 거주자와 10-15%는 WICE주에 거주하고 있습니다.

A typical entering class is composed of 85-90% Washington residents and the remaining 10-15%

primarily from WICHE state (Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota and Wyoming).
