1. 선수과목

 - 지원을 위해서는 4년간의 학위 프로그램을 마쳐야 합니다.

 - 이 때, 과학 계열이 아닌 비 전공자도 지원이 가능하며, 최소 필수 요건 이상의 과학 관련

   상위 과정을 이수한 지원자를 선호합니다.

 - 하단 모든 필수 과목은 입학하기 전 봄학기 까지 완료해야 합니다.

 - AP와 IB의 경우에도, 공식 성적증명서에 학점이 표시되어 있으면 인정될 수 있습니다.

Penn Dental Medicine seeks DMD applicants with a broad and strong educational background,

who will have completed a four-year degree program prior to matriculation.

While a foundation in science is desirable preparation for dental school,

well-prepared candidates also possess course work in humanities, social science, and the arts.

Non-science majors are encouraged to apply.

Preference is given to those who have completed upper division science courses beyond the minimum requirements.

Applicants may apply to our program prior to the completion of predental requirements or other course work.

All prerequisite courses should be completed by the spring term, prior to matriculation to dental school.

Although there is no expiration date for prerequisite courses,

applicants should consider new additional course work to reinforce any knowledge gained previously.

Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) course work can be credited towards

predental requirements as long as the credit appears on your official college transcript.

2. DAT

 - DAT 점수는 반드시 12월 1일까지 ADEA AADSAS에 제출해야 합니다.

 - DAT 점수 인정 기간 : 2019년 이후에 응시한 점수만 인정합니다.

 - 입학처에서는 지원자의 다양한 영역을 고려하여 공식 DAT 점수를 제출하기 전에 인터뷰

   요청을 할 수도 있습니다.

Applicants must submit DAT scores by the December 1 deadline.

Scores reported through ADEA AADSAS are considered official.

DAT scores from test dates starting January 2019 and later are required for admission.

The Admissions Committee may invite applicants to interview based upon academic preparation,

pre-dental experience, extracurricular activities, work experience and/or research prior to the

receipt of official DAT scores.

3. 추천서

 - 교수로부터 받은 추천서 최소 2부 또는 Committee letter를 제출하면 됩니다.

 - 과학 계열에 전공이 아니라면, 반드시 과학 계열 교수에게 추천서를 받을 필요는 없습니다.

 - 추천서는 레터헤드에 제목과 서명이 포함되어야 합니다.

 - 추천서는 AADSAS에 제출하거나 입학처로 발송하여도 됩니다.

A minimum of two letters from professors (preferably from your major course of study)

or a committee letter prepared by the school’s prehealth advisor and/

or a committee familiar with the applicant’s academic abilities is required.

Penn Dental Medicine does not require letters from science faculty, unless you are a science major.

Letters should be on letterhead and include a signature and title.

Please refer to the AADSAS application instructions for submitting letters of evaluation.

Although it is preferred that all letters be sent directly to AADSAS,

letter sent directly to Penn Dental Medicine’s Office of Student Admissions will also be accepted.

4. 성적증명서

- 입학처는 입학 허가를 받은 지원자의 성적 증명서를 요청합니다.

- 별도의 통지가 있기 전까지 성적증명서를 입학처에 전달하지 않아도 됩니다.

All applicants must submit official transcript to the AADSAS application service for verification.

AADSAS applications will not be processed and sent to the individual schools until transcript are received

and verified. The Penn Dental Medicine Admissions Office requires official transcripts only from candidates

who have been accepted for admission. Please do not forward transcripts to Penn Dental Medicine’s Office

of Student Admissions until notified to do so.

It is recommended that applicants submit the Penn Dental Supplemental Application

and application fee as soon as possible after submitting the AADSAS Application.

In addition to the AADSAS application, applicants are required to complete

and submit the following documents to Penn Dental Medicine for interview consideration.
