1. 선수과목

  - 최소 90시간 이상을 6월 30일까지 이수해야 합니다.

  - Community College 또는 Junior College의 경우, 최소 60시간 이상 이수해야 합니다. 

  - 선수과목을 인정받기 위해서는 C 이상의 학점을 받아야 합니다.

  - 학기제의 경우, 90시간 쿼터제의 경우, 최소 135시간을 이수해야 합니다.

While the Committee on Dental Recruitment and Admissions strongly encourages applications to earn a

bachelor’s degree prior to dental school matriculation, applicants who have successfully completed at least

three academic years (90 credit hours) in an accredited university may be considered for admission. No more

than 60 of the minimum required credits will be accepted from a community college or junior college.

All admission requirements must be completed by June 30 of the desired year of matriculation.

The Committee on Dental Recruitment and Admissions reserve the right to modify the prerequisites when

additional courses are necessary to improve an applicant’s preparation for dental school and all prerequisites

must receive a passing grade of C or higher. A C- will not be accepted.

2. DAT

  - DAT 점수 인정 기간: 지원하는 해의 12월 이전까지 응시하여 제출해야 합니다.

  - DAT 점수는 3년간 유효합니다.

All applicants are urged to take the Dental Admission Test(DAT) no lather than December of the year

prior to desired matriculation. DAT scores are current for three years.

3. GPA

  - 작년 평균 GPA는 3.6 / 평균 DAT는 21이었습니다. DAT18점 미만인 지원자는 고려하지 않습니다.

Please keep in mind that our average GPA last year was 3.6 and our average DAT score was about 21.

We do not consider applicants with DATs below 18.

4. 추천서

  - 볼티모어 메릴랜드 치대는 Pre-Professional Committee으로 받은 추천서 또는 임상에서 쉐도잉

    100시간 활동 후 전문의에게 받은 추천서를 매우 선호합니다.

  - 그렇지 않은 경우에는 과학 계열 교수에게 추천서를 받아 제출해도 됩니다.

  - 추천서에는 공식 레터헤드와 추천인 서명이 들어가야 하며, AADSAS에 제출해야 합니다.

The Committee on Dental Recruitment and Admissions strongly prefer to receive a recommendation package from

applicant’s institutional pre-professional committee and a letter from general of specialized dentist documenting at

least 100 shadowing hours.

If no such committee is available, letters of recommendation from one science professional may be substituted.

There are no substitutions for the letter of recommendation from a general of specialized dentist.

Letters of Recommendation must be included as part of the application materials submitted to AADSAS. Letters

must be one official letterhead and bear the recommender’s signature.
