1. 성적표 제출

  - 공식 전자 문서는 다음 서비스를 통해 접수됩니다.

    (Application, Parchment, Naviance, Escrip-Safe, and The National Student Clearinghouse.)

  - 전자 발송 방법은 귀하의 발송 기관이 이러한 제3자 서비스 중 한 곳과 합의한 내용에 따라 결정됩니다.

    세 서비스 모두 University of Illinois at Chicago를 수신자로 선택해야 합니다.

  - 공식 서류는 원래 봉해진 봉투에 넣어 입학처에 우편으로 보내거나 직접 배달할 수 있습니다.

    개봉 또는 재봉, 재포장된 공식 문서는 공식 문서로 승인되지 않습니다.

2. 선수과목

  - 선수과목은 최소 C- 이상 학점을 받아 이수해야 합니다.

  - 각 과목별 세부사항은 다음과 같으며, 이수 시 참고 바랍니다.

1. CP : CR(학점) 또는 P(통과) 선수 과목인 경우, 2020년 봄 또는 여름 학기에 수강한 과목에 대해서만 허용합니다.
2. AP and Test-Out Credits : 이 경우, 성적증명서에 학점이 제공되는 경우 인정됩니다.
3. 선수과목 이수 마감일 : 22년 가을 입학을 위해 22년 8월 두번째 주까지 이수 완료해야 합니다. (22년도 기준, 일정은 상이할 수 있습니다.)
4. Foreign Coursework : 외국 교과과정(미국 대학을 통해 이수한 유학 과정 제외)이 있는 모든 지원자는 WES 외국 교과 과정 보고서를 제출해야 합니다.

Minimum Grades – All pre-pharmacy prerequisite course must have a C-grade or better

1) CR(credit) or P (pass) Grades – Pass or Credits grades in prerequisite courses are accepted for courses taken in Spring or Summer 2020 semesters only.

2) AP and Test-Out Credits – AP and test-out credits will be accepted to meet pre-pharmacy prerequisite coursework if credit for these are given on a transcript. Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisite Coursework Guides are available for most Illinois schools and some out-of-state schools.

3) Prerequisite Completion Deadline – All pre-pharmacy prerequisite courses must be completed and verified by the end of the second week in August for admission that fall August 12, 2022 for Fall 2022 admission.

4) Foreign Coursework – Any applicants with foreign coursework (other than study abroad coursework taken through a US college) must provide a WES foreign coursework report.

3. PCAT

  - PCAT는 필수 요건이 아닌 선택 사항입니다.

  - 지원자가 응시하기로 한 경우, PCAT는 전체적인 지원 검토에서 고려되는 것 중 하나입니다.

  - 입학 허가 학생의 종합 점수는 30에서 90 (백분위수)로 백분위수 50 이상인 경우에는,지원 검토 시 플러스가 됩니다.

Although the PCAT (Pharmacy College Admissions Test) is not required, it is one of many things considered in a holistic application review if an applicant opts to take it. Admitted students composite score have ranged from 30 to 99 (percentile).

Low scores cannot hurt an applicant. Scores above 50th percentile will be a plus and taken into account

in the application review process.

4. GPA

  - GPA는 다음 3가지 영역을 검토합니다. 각 영역 모두 최소 2.5 학점 이상이어야 합니다.

  - 2020년 가을 입학 기준 전체 GPA 범위는 2.68~4.00 사이였고 평균 GPA는 3.4 였습니다.

1. Cumulate : 지원자가 재학한 모든 곳에서 이수한 전체 학점. 재수강한 경우에도, 이전 학점까지 모두 포함해서 학점 제출
2. Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisites : 선수 과목에 대한 학점. 해당 과목 재수강한 경우, 최고 학점만 포함해서 학점 제출
3. Science/Math : 지원자가 수강한 수학과 과학 계열 과목에 대한 학점

To be considered, applicants must have a 2.50(A=4.00) or higher GPA in three areas.

1) Cumulative – All coursework taken at every institution attended; grades from all attempts of repeated courses are included

2) Pre-Pharmacy Prerequisites – Only coursework used to meet the prerequisites; only the highest grades received from repeated courses are included

3) Science/Math – all science and math-related coursework; grades from all attempts of repeated courses are included.

    Applicants not meeting the GPA requirements at the time of application will be considered for review again after the PharmCAS     

    Fall and/or Spring Academic Update.

5. 대외활동

  - 의료 기관에서 근무 경험

  - 자원 봉사 경험

  - 약국/의료 Shadowing 경험

  - 리더십 및 지역 사회 봉사 활동 경험

6. TOEFL

  - 모국어가 영어가 아닌 국제 지원자들은 영어 능력 시험 점수를 제출하도록 요구됩니다.

  - 국제 지원자의 영어 능력 시험 요구 사항은 면제가 되는 경우가 있으며,

  - 다음은 영어 능력 시험으로 인정되는 시험과 영역별 최소 점수입니다.

UIC requires the submission of valid English proficiency test scores for all non-native English speakers.

7. 추천서

  - 추천서는 총 2부를 제출해야 하며 각각의 추천서는 다음과 같이 받아야 합니다.

     1) 지도교수, 교수, 강사, 조교 등으로부터 받은 추천서 1부가 필요합니다.

     2) 근무했던 직장 또는 활동했던 자원봉사자 감독자로부터 받은 추천서 1부가 필요합니다.

The UIC College of Pharmacy requires two letters of recommendation.

1) One letter must be from an academic reference such as an academic advisor, a professor, an instructor, or a TA;

2) One letter must be from a work or volunteer supervisor.
